They give so much food, it can last almost 3days. The people are very nice. They show you the food before you leave. And just the best soul food place in Baltimore city
My new favorite Baltimore soul food restaurant. I've passed this location many times. The food options are great. The sides were great too. My meal was a fried fish platter with green beans and mac & cheese. It was amazing. The half and half tea with lemonade was the right balance. Just simply refreshing. While mostly a carryout, there were tables in restaurant where mostly were used by people sat waiting for their to go order.
This location is small with couple of seats mostly for those who are waiting for their orders, so this is a take out not a place to dine in. I ordered stuffed salmon platter which costed around 18 including a soda, it tasted really good. The staff were so busy but still they made my order on time.
It was my first time here and I must say the customer service and food I received boy oh boy exceeded my expectations. I had the stuffed salmon w/ greens,yams & mac-cheese! I love supporting my people and this was definitely WORTH it.
It Was My First Visit. I Ordered Stuffed Salmon With Collard Greens, Mac N Cheese, And Yams. When I Got Home, I Didn't Have My Yams, So I Called And Let The Owner Know, And He Said That I Could Stop By And Get It. I Went The Next Day, And He Duplicated My Order.
I just heard about this restaurant while I was shopping in Harvest Fare. So we decided to try it out. Glad we did everything was just as good as the the Cashier in the store told us. The appearance or presentation of the food even with it being take out was Wonderful. If you're reading this, please go there & try something.
I love supporting local business and Taste This is worth every penny spent. I got the smothered pork chops with candied yams and macaroni and cheese. I made a terrible decision getting it for lunch during a work day because I was no good after eating it all I wanted to do was nap. However jokes aside it was absolutely delicious and worth the trip.
